Penny settled down in the top of the fourth and retired the side in order. The Dodgers offense responded in the bottom half, with Andre Ethier singling in a run, and setting up Matt Kemp. Kemp then blasted a three-run jack to give the Dodgers a lead they would not relinquish. Here, he high-fives Ethier and Betemit.
The Dodgers went on to collect another run on a Rafael Furcal double and a Juan Pierre RBI double to left. 6-4 Dodgers.
