Fielding practice after the game, and Nick Gorneault sticks around to shag a few fly balls. Gorneault has hit .300/.300/.400 in 10 at bats and three games, and was sent down to minor league camp Friday. If the Angels are interested in putting to use the player BA ranked 19th in their system at the major league level, you could have fooled me. With Juan Rivera still arbitration-eligible, the team's in no hurry to bring up any of its outfield prospects, and so it's likely he'll revisit the thin air parks of the PCL in 2006.
