"Candlesticks always make a nice gift ..." Scott Dunn is the focus of this mound conference after he issued a walk to non-prospect Casey McGehee. (McGehee was a star third baseman on the CSU Fresno team when he was drafted in the 10th round three years ago, but the Cubs have made him at least a part-timer behind the dish; he appears on no prospect lists to my knowledge.) Dunn managed to get out of the inning unscathed by eliciting a 4-3 groundout from Augie Ojeda.
